Fans of Sega’s Virtua Tennis have one more reason to love 2009: Virtua Tennis 2009. According to Sega, not only does it have new players, but crocodiles, yono arcade fruit and pirates as well.
Those pirates will appear in the series’ trademark “Court Games,” the surreal mini-games that make Virtua Tennis so beloved. Fruit and crocodiles will join playable newcomers Andy Murray and ladies French Open champion Ana Ivanovic, plus Virtua Tennis vets Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Maria Sharapova yono business sbi and Venus Williams.
Virtua Tennis 2009 is slated to ship in May for the yono business PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with Sega promising a downloadable version for PC fans.
